Suspension intelligence for real riders

Know your suspension.
Improve your ride.

Modern dirt bikes have remarkable suspension technology. But how much of it are we really using? ClickIQ™ is being developed to help off-road riders understand their suspension, compare adjustments, and make more informed decisions—using real data from real rides.

Why ClickIQ?

Your motorcycle has the technology.
Understand how to use it.

Fork and shock compression, rebound, preload—even tire pressure—can change how your motorcycle responds to the trail. Great components alone don't guarantee a great setup. Understanding what an adjustment actually changes is the challenge.

A well-matched suspension setup can contribute to traction, comfort and control. ClickIQ helps take some of the guesswork out of testing changes, without claiming to replace rider experience or sound setup practices.

01 / MEASURE

Real-world suspension data

Capture suspension movement approximately 100 times per second. See how the suspension responds to real riding conditions.

02 / COMPARE

Change one thing. Measure the difference.

Try a compression or rebound clicker or preload adjustments; change fork height in the triple clamps, or even tire pressure. Ride again and see what changed.

03 / UNDERSTAND

Clear, useful feedback

Review suspension travel, movement and focused comparisons in language riders can use on the trail.

Are you using the suspension travel available to you? Garage sag is a useful starting point, but suspension position and travel use while riding tell another part of the story. ClickIQ is being developed to help riders explore those differences through measured suspension movement and travel distribution.

Designed for privateers and off-road riders

Practical technology, right on the bike.

ClickIQ is designed as a standalone, self-contained system with its own touchscreen. No phone app, GPS, cellular connection, or connection to the motorcycle's electrical system is required for its intended operation. The mounting approach is designed to work across a wide variety of off-road motorcycles, with compatibility depending on the bike and installation.

The measurement behind the insight

Small sensor. Big insights.

A precision linear-position sensor mounted alongside the suspension tracks its movement approximately 100 times every second. That means ClickIQ can record suspension travel and changes in movement speed during a real ride—not just how the bike felt afterward.

The onboard system analyzes the measurements and shows useful, qualified comparisons on its built-in color touchscreen. The design does not require a phone app, GPS, or a connection to the bike’s electrical system. Additional sensing configurations remain under evaluation.

Ride data is saved to a removable microSD card for later review or analysis—without a phone app or cloud account.

1. Know your setupKeep track of the suspension settings you're evaluating.
2. Record a rideMeasure suspension movement where you actually ride.
3. Make an adjustmentTry one change—whether a clicker, preload, fork position, or tire pressure—then ride comparable terrain again.
4. Review the differenceSee measured changes and qualified ClickIQ insights on the display.

The story behind ClickIQ

I wanted to know what my suspension was really doing.

I've ridden Hodakas, Hondas, Maicos and plenty of other motorcycles over the years. After some time away from dirt bikes, I returned to riding—and I'm having an absolute blast.

What struck me was just how capable today's machines are. Modern suspension gives us an amazing range of adjustments. But how many of us really know our settings, what they change, or whether the last adjustment made things better?

A small log and a big question

During a hare scramble, I was descending a slippery hill toward a little wet, off-camber log. I'd crossed obstacles like it countless times. This time the tire bounced off, and down I went.

Then I remembered: I'd changed my compression setting for the faster parts of the race. Did that contribute to what happened? I couldn't know. But it made me think about what I was missing.

What if I could measure what my suspension was doing—and compare what changed when I adjusted it?

I wanted something affordable, intuitive and practical to use right on the trail. Something that wouldn't require a phone app, a complicated installation, or hours analyzing data afterward. That question became ClickIQ™.

Developing it has already changed the way I think about suspension setup. I'm learning how much tires, terrain, clickers and suspension behavior interact. There is still a great deal to explore, and that's part of the excitement.

Watching an A-class rider flow across terrain can feel like watching a different sport. Skill matters enormously, of course. But I believe understanding the machine beneath us can help everyday riders get more enjoyment, comfort and confidence from their own bikes.

That's why I started ClickIQ. I wanted to know.
